When a unit is returned for repairs, the Test Department identifies the fault and carries out the work as quickly as possible. A record of the repair or replacement is kept on file. When no fault can be found, further investigation is made by the customer support engineer, who may decide to send an exchange or loan item until the problem is resolved. All equipment returned for repair under the terms of the published warranty will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Customer property will be labelled as such.
