Records are identified and kept in perpetuity unless indicated differently below. Changes in the format of records and documents need to be approved by the appropriate director or manager and incorporated into the Works Instructions. For details see the Work Instructions.
Records may be paper records or digital records, including emails. All emails sent out are automatically backed up to Gmail on the Google Cloud under the microlink@retailsensing.com account.
- WK2.8, WK4.2: PCB Manufacture records (kept for one year)
- WK3.1: Incoming goods inspection records (kept for one year)
- WK3.4: Merchanted goods, computer acceptance procedure records (kept for three years)
- WK3.5: Test equipment register and calibration service records
- WK3.8: Test and inspection records, including authority for product release
- WK3.9: Test software validation records
- WK3.10: Purchasing and approved supplier records
- WK3.6, WK3.7: Fault investigation records
- WK3.7: Service returns and customer property records
- WK4.1: Received goods records (kept for one year)
- WK4.4, WK2.18, WK8.2: Stock control records (kept for three years)
- WK5.2: Incoming order records
- WK5.4: Invoicing records
- WK5.5 , WK7.3: Customer review and quotation records (kept for three years)
- WK6.1, WK6.2: Packing and dispatch records
- WK7.1: Document control records
- WK7.2: Non-conforming product records
- WK7.4: Product identification and traceability records
- WK7.5: Preventative and corrective action records
- WK7.6: Control of electronic records
- WK7.7: Internal quality audit records
- WK7.8, WK3.4 : Product design and development changes
- WK8.1: Training records
